Dr. Pillai says that Osho had a spiritual community that he loved, but he was very critical of spiritual people. He said he would speak the truth regardless of how it would effect him.
He was asked why spiritual people were poor. he said that the answer was simple. Spiritual people only care about the spirit. They don’t care for matter. Material people are not poor because they care for matter.
He said that the spiritual people are really the spiritless people because they “space out” and show no motivation in life. They don’t pursue riches or becoming more comfortable in the material world. So, in that sense they are spiritless.
Dr. Pillai explains how being spiritual is being very powerful. He says a truly spiritual person is someone who has developed omniscience and omnipotence. He says that spiritual people should actually be more materially successful than non-spiritual people.
