Dr. Mitchell Gibson’s Natal Chart

I met this man several years ago.  A friend of mine told me about him and wanted to know what I thought about him.  I began to check him out online by looking at some of his videos.  I could see that he knew what he was talking about.  so I decided to see him in person at one of his workshops.

At a break during the workshop, I asked him for his birth time and if the other birth information for him online was correct and he confirmed it.  I took down his birth information in order to run a tropical natal chart to see if all the information I found on him matched up with it.

I decided to post some basic information about his nativity below.  I posted a few copies of the chart with some special markings so that a beginner or non-astrologer can understand.

Guru

The symbol circled on the far left of the chart represents pisces.   This position illustrates pisces as the ascendant of the chart.  The ascendant indicates how the native meets the world and how they are viewed by those close to them.  A pisces ascendant is not uncommon for a spiritual leader.*

The symbol circled at the top right of the chart represents Jupiter.  Jupiter is the planet that rules pisces therefore in astrology, Jupiter is called the dispositor of Pisces.  Jupiter is in Scorpio occupying the eighth house which is the house of transformation and mysticism among other things.

Healer and authority

There are several planets in Virgo occupying the 6th house in the chart.  Virgo and the 6th house are associated with healers.  It’s common for healers to have a strong Virgo and/or 6th house.

Saturn is the planet circled at the top of the chart.  Saturn is in the sign that it rules  and it’s position denotes someone who could be a philosophical authority and/or business person.  However, the aspects between Saturn and the planets in Virgo occupying the sixth house indicates that he could, more specifically, be an authority in the field of healing.

Powerful Moon

The Moon is exalted in Taurus and is occupying the second house.

The Moon is in a Waning gibbous phase.  The gibbous Moon is also known as a disseminating Moon.  Albert Einstein was born with a disseminating Moon.  The significance is that the disseminating Moon phase is recognized as being the Moon phase of a teacher.

The Moon is also a focal planet in the chart by way of the planetary pattern.  The pattern is called a bucket and the Moon is the handle.  You can easily see this displayed by the Moon being opposite all the other planets in the chart.

In addition, the Moon in this position indicates an individual who is very emotionally stable. It also indicates a person with a strong appreciation for material objects and attracts prosperity.

Indicators of genius

Has no planets in air signs.  Air signs are the signs that correspond to the mind.  Therefore there is an overcompensation for the missing air element.  Gemini is the sign where the over compensation takes place.  The dispositor of Gemini is Mercury and it is in conjunction with Uranus.  Uranus is considered a higher vibration of Mercury.  Both of those planets together in a conjunction is an indicator of genius.

Further indications of genius

It has already been determined that the chart illustrates an over compensation for the air element expressed by Gemini which is ruled by Mercury.  It was previously noted that Mercury is in a conjunction with Uranus.  Mercury is also in mutual reception with the Sun.  This means that Mercury is in the sign that the Sun rules (Leo) and the Sun is in a sign that Mercury rules (Virgo).

The mutual reception between the Mercury and the Sun is taking place with Mercury occupying the 5th house and the Sun occupying the 6th house.  The 5th house deals with creativity and the 6th house deals with healing.  This appears to be an indication of a creative genius and also a genius in the field of healing and service.

Healing relationships

There is a conjunction between the Sun and Pluto in Virgo occupying the 6th house.  There is a significant aspect forming between the Sun/Pluto conjunction and Neptune.  Neptune is in Scorpio occupying the 7th house.

The 6th house is the house associated with healing and the 7th is associated with relating to others.

Pluto is in Virgo occupying the 6th house.  You can also note that it is in conjunction with the Sun.  There is a trine aspect forming between Pluto and the mid-heaven.  This is recognized by some astrologers as indicating a person who has a presence of divinity.
